To become a volunteer tutor a person must first attend our Basic Literacy and/or English as a Second Language Workshop.  Workshops are diversified and techniques are presented by an experienced Tutor Trainer in a classroom setting, or on an individual basis.  We utilize tutor strengths or special interests and match them up with students who are looking for help in those particular subjects.  Special Workshops are also provided on GED, pre-GED, Learning Disabilities, Workplace Literacy, Family Literacy and Health Literacy.
